I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
